Welcome
Gaywood Baby and Toddler Group was first set up in 1986, under the name of Gaywood Mother and Toddler Group.

Gaywood Baby and Toddler Group is based in the larger of the two halls (the one on the right hand side) at Gaywood Church Rooms, Gayton Road, Kings Lynn.

There is a car park outside the hall and parking is free of charge for our members! If you can't find a parking space outside the hall, there is also a car park at the nearby Gaywood Library.

We are located virtually opposite the Gayton Road Health Centre, within walking distance of Tesco, Aldi, Planet Zoom and the Gaywood Library.

Friendly drop-in sessions
Our group is run as friendly informal coffee mornings (drop-in basis) so new members are welcome to pop in for a chat and a coffee while their babies and young children play.

For safety reasons the front door is kept locked and members must ring the doorbell to gain admittance (this prevents little people getting out without us knowing).

We are always happy to see new faces at our sessions, regardless of age or religion. Mums, dads, grandparents or carers with young children are all welcome at our group. New members are welcome to just turn up during any of our sessions.

Our group is aimed at children aged from birth to 3 years of age, although children over 3 years are welcome to attend our sessions.

Please remember to sign in at the kitchen reception area upon arrival – this allows us to note you in our register and take your drink order and money.

Important
It is important that parents and carers understand that they must take responsibility for any children they bring along to our sessions.
Parents must be prepared to keep a watchful eye on their children at all times to prevent any accidents.

Voluntary
Gaywood Baby and Toddler Group is run on a purely voluntary basis by local parents and relies on the support of the parents that attend to keep the group running. Any money made from session fees pays for the rent of the hall and things like drinks, snacks and new toys or equipment.

After paying the rent on the hall each session, our group barely has any money left over so donations of biscuits, snacks, drinks, toys, books or baby equipment are always appreciated.

Helping

As our group is run by volunteers, we are always really grateful for any offers of help; this includes help setting the toys up before session starts, making drinks, cleaning toys, washing/wiping up, and tidying toys away at the end of the session.

If anyone would like to help out on a regular basis or would be interested in becoming involved with helping to run the group, please
speak to Joanne, the group leader, during session.
